Here’s how Pastor John Piper explained the Gospel – the good news of Jesus Christ : Here is the gospel: God sends His Son into the world. The God-man, really man and really God – really human and really divine, lives a perfect life, fulfills the whole law, and dies in the place of sinners, intentionally. He absorbs ALL of the wrath of God against ALL of those who choose to believe in him. He takes away ALL of their guilt, He forgives ALL of their sins. He rises from the dead, triumphant over death and hell and Satan. He ascends into heaven, rules with power from on high, and will come again, and give eternal life, and raise from the dead all those who have trusted in Him.
