Good News For Today 27 – Ken Ham (2:26 min).
Hello, I’m David Hibbert, and I’ve got some good news for you!
Here’s how scientist Ken Ham explained the gospel – the good news of Jesus Christ.
I have a book here called the Bible. Over 3000 times it claims to be the Word of the God Who knows everything, Who has always existed, Who had written down for us what this universe is all about, as well as who we are, where we came from, what our problem is, and what the solution is.
The Bible tells us that God created everything, that he created the first man, Adam, and the first woman, Eve. But Adam rebelled against God.
Because we are all descendants of Adam and he was the head of human race, that’s why we are born in rebellion against God – we are all sinners. That’s why sin came from, and that’s why we are all sinners.
And so we are all cut off from a holy and righteous God. And death is a consequence of that. Our bodies will die.
But we are made in the image of God, and so we also have a soul. Our soul is going to live forever, but we will be eternally separated from God. But God had a plan from eternity past.
God, in the person of his Son, stepped into history to be Jesus, the God-man, to be of the race of Adam, to be our relative, to be one of us, but to be a perfect man, to die on a cross, and be raised from the dead, in order to offer us the free gift of salvation.
And if we accept His sacrifice for our sins, and we put our trust only in him, we will be saved for eternity.
